Area opens arms to volunteer and donation opportunities from corporate group attendees

A number of companies and organizations are taking steps centered on the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) concept of giving back to local communities. That concept recognizes the benefits of social responsibility and continues when planning group meetings, conferences and incentives.

Kissimmee is committed to providing meeting professionals with the information on which of its local organizations fit the Corporate Social Responsibility plans and practices of visiting corporate groups. The initiative may be in the form of groups setting aside time in their agenda for attendees to participate in a local project or charity. Or, attendees may be encouraged to donate goods or money to a local non-for profit organization. For assistance, please contact Claudia Jacobs, destination services representative, at 407-944-2418.
